    Trial version

Trying to get working on the trial version but having issues with opening the infopath to sharepoint list form. It tells me access denied. When I open the open in design mode, it tells me it cannot find the c+ code file. What step have i missed?

Hi - so you are using a trial of InfoPath 2010, and trying to edit a SharePoint list form? Are you opening the list form in InfoPath from the list itself? Can you provide more info on the exact steps you are taking, and the exact error message you are receiving? Thanks!

I am sorry. I gave you some bad information. I installed the trial version of qrules and I am trying to use the Qdabra InfoPath to SharePoint List Tool. I am getting security certificate messages when I try to open the from.

    Great, thanks for the info.

After you install qRules, from the Start menu, under Qdabra / Tools / qRules (Trial) you should see a shortcut that says "Install Forms" - try double clicking that - it runs a script that installs the full trust forms.

The User Guide (in the same location) has additional info on this starting on page 3.

Thanks. I wa sable to register the forms. Hopefully one last question.  I am now getting an access denied error when trying the launch the mapping tool. I have set the entire QDABRA folder with full access control but I am still geting the error. Any thoughts?

Form template: C:\Program Files\Qdabra Software\Qdabra Rules Library (Trial Version)\Forms\Qdabra InfoPath to SharePoint List Tool.xsn
    Access is denied.

Interesting - you shouldn't be having this issue if the forms registered correctly. If you open InfoPath Filler (assuming you are using IP 2010?) and click on File / New, do you see the form in your installed forms? What operating system are you using? Did you run setup.exe as admin when you installed qRules?

Worst case, right click the template and open it in design mode and preview it.

I do see the form in the InfoPath filler.   I am running Windows 7 and I did run the setup as as admin. When I open the form in design mode and then preview, I get a message that InfoPath cannot find the VB or C# code project.

Just click the "Ignore" button on the message and the form will preview with the compiled dll.
