Excel to XML Tool - Unexpected Error

I was attempting to re-run a set up that worked perfectly in January.  I loaded new data to the Excel Worksheet, but everything else was the same.

    Cannot perform ' =' operation on System.Double and System.String

Could you guys give me a hint as to what this means, so I can troubleshoot the error?  THANKS!!

Sounds like the trouble may be in your data -- the error says that the tool is trying to compare a number to a string and failing. Can you send the following to the Support email alias: config file for the tool, template.xml, Excel data that is failing (redact any sensitive info, please).

Thank you Hilary!!!  That is exactly what I needed to know in order to find my problem.  After you told me what the error meant, it was not difficult to find the problem!!  It is all good now.

When I loaded my new data to the existing workbook, a column was left off one of the db queries, and thus one of the incoming spreadsheets, thus causing the next text field data to appear where a numeric code should have been.

I had looked and looked but could not really see it until you clarified the message.  It was kinda like finding a needle in a haystack!!  Thanks again for your fantastic help!!
