Our organization uses three forms primarily. Normally generated in the order Form 1, Form 2 and (Optional) Form3.

What we are hoping for - and what I sadly don't know what terms to use to search for. Is to have Form 2 generated from data on Form 1

For example, Heading A is common across both forms, as is Heading C
Is there a way we can generate a new Form 2 from the significant content on Form 1?

please, even though I don´t understand your problem absolut correct --- why do you have to you use three forms if there are parts of the content are identical in all of them. Normally I use different views to show different stages of a process in a form. For example you can show the "view 1" (=Form1) at the very beginning of your process --- than when "process 1" is finished you can show up "view 2" (=Form2) and after finishing "process 2" you can switch to "view 3" (=Form3). In this case you only have one form and therefore one data model but three different views.

That was taken into consideration but since saved Infopath files are inherently without security and so stored in the *.xml file with plaintext. From a security standpoint we are unable to unify all data into the one form. The way we presently secure out information is through the use of Sharepoint security settings on document libraries.

So, yes some of the information is similar across forms but, in our case, they are insufficient for maintaining security and integrity within the company.

Does anyone else have any ideas? Help is appreciated
