How to set IE for InfoPath-only view forms

Hi, I'm getting the following error: There has been an error while loading the form. Click Try Again to attempt to load the form again. If this error persists, contact the support team for the Web site. Retrieval of the form template from the following location is not authorized: "URL Link...mytemplate.xsn" This form is an InfoPath-only view. As far as I understand the error occurred because IE was trying to open the template in the browser. How to set IE in order to fix this issue? Thanks!

    Hello JMCastillo,

do you try to open the form from a SharePoint library? If you do then you don´t have to set anything in IE. It´s a setting in the SharePoint library where you have publish the form.

To enable the setting that the will be open with Infopath client:

    1. Go to the Form Library to which you published the InfoPath form template.
    2. Click Settings on the Form Library menu bar and choose Form Library Settings from the drop-down menu.
    3. On the Customize <Form Library Name> page under the General Settings category, click Advanced settings.
    4. On the Form Library Advanced Settings: <Form Library Name> page under the Browser-enabled Documents category, choose Open in the client application.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards,

    Karsten
