    Failed to select node for SharePoint List Id

    I have followed the examples for the SubmitToSharePointList qRule, and can get it to work with no problems. My problem starts when I try to take the example and expand it. The solution I am trying to reach is to have a form with a Title and Department field, then a repeating table with several other fields. Is this possible, or do all of the fields need to be in a repeating table? my set field value command - SubmitToSharePointList /submit=submitForm6 /mapping=mappingForm6 /id=my:ID /xpath=/my:myFields/my:group1 Thanks, Jason

    Hi -

    I don't recognize your syntax - the /xpath parameter isn't used with SubmitToSharePointList... that is, if the /xpath above is something you are trying to include in the command?

    However, you can certainly do this - it is just you'll need to modify your mapping XML file.

    You'll map to the repeating group, but then add mappings for the Title and Department field that are relative to the repeating group.

    If you want, attach your template here (under the Options tab) and I'll fix up your mapping file for you.

    Re: Failed to select node for SharePoint List Id

    You made this easy - thanks! I updated your mapping for the task items to include the non repeating nodes from the corp events group. Your new mappings node now looks like this:

      <my:Mappings>
        <my:IsRepeating>true</my:IsRepeating>
        <my:RepeatingGroup>my:myFields/my:TaskItems/my:group2</my:RepeatingGroup>
        <my:Mapping>
          <my:FormField my:IsRichText="false">../../my:CorpEvents/my:Title</my:FormField>
          <my:SharePointColumn>Title</my:SharePointColumn>
        </my:Mapping>
        <my:Mapping>
          <my:FormField my:IsRichText="false">../../my:CorpEvents/my:Department</my:FormField>
          <my:SharePointColumn>Department</my:SharePointColumn>
        </my:Mapping>
        <my:Mapping>
          <my:FormField my:IsRichText="false">../../my:CorpEvents/my:ManagedBy</my:FormField>
          <my:SharePointColumn>ManagedBy</my:SharePointColumn>
        </my:Mapping>
        <my:Mapping>
          <my:FormField my:IsRichText="false">my:TaskTitle</my:FormField>
          <my:SharePointColumn>TaskTitle</my:SharePointColumn>
        </my:Mapping>
        <my:Mapping>
          <my:FormField my:IsRichText="false">my:TaskType</my:FormField>
          <my:SharePointColumn>TaskType</my:SharePointColumn>
        </my:Mapping>
        <my:Mapping>
          <my:FormField my:IsRichText="false">my:FixedEvent</my:FormField>
          <my:SharePointColumn>FixedEvent</my:SharePointColumn>
        </my:Mapping>
        <my:Mapping>
          <my:FormField my:IsRichText="false">my:DueDate</my:FormField>
          <my:SharePointColumn>DueDate</my:SharePointColumn>
        </my:Mapping>
      </my:Mappings>

    I've already updated the XML in your form template, so no need to do anything there. You'll probably want to remove one of the submit commands from your button, just submit to the task list. Give this version a try (right click the link in the heading, save locally, right click the locally saved file to open in design mode).

    I've already included the updated mapping in the XSN I included. But here's a copy in case you need it....
