    HTML Link not `clickable' when using qRules v2.3 with InfoPath 2010

    I have developed a new form (been a few months since i needed one and have upgraded to Office 2010 since). Infopath seems to work and I have everything built as I have in the past. I uploaded the template to SharePoint, activeated it to my document library as I have in the past.

     The form opens, is populated and sends its emails as it should. The issue is that now the Link that is inserted in the submitted form is not clickable. It has the correct http://.... format that would be expected but does not link.

    Is this an issue with the older version of qRules and Office 2010 or is there something missing here that I cant see? I have attached the form for reference.

    Thanks!

    Hi:

    Are you talking about the text box in your form that is labelled "Link"? It is not a hyperlink control. I've added one for you (from the Insert tab on the Ribbon in IP 2010) using the qRulesLink field for the address and the qRulesFilename field for the display.

    Save the attached form locally and right click the saved file to open in design mode.

    Hilary you are always a genius.

    Looks like the method of creating the hyperlink control changed between versions of InfoPath so I was not creating it correctly. Using the method described (after seeing the example) I was, and should now continue to be, able to get the link correctly appearing in the final format.

    Thank you for your quick response and, as ususal, perfect solution.

    Oh, I'm no genius. It took me a month to figure out where they hid the hyperlink control in InfoPath 2010....

    :-}
