Hello,

I have Infopath 2007 Visual Studios 2008.  I've downloaded and instaled the hotfix (office-kb958139-fullfile-x86-glb) from Microsoft to address publishing forms from Infopath 2007.  Now I've recieve the following error when I try to build an installable .msi file on my computer:

An error has occured while creating the installer file.

Microsoft Visual Studio may have been installed incorrectly.

 Can anyone give me directions on how to resolve this issue and publish my form?

Hi Charles,

I recommend repairing it, or if that is impossible, try reinstalling. Obviously, we don't provide generic Tier 1 support for Visual Studio in this forum, so your best bet if those ideas don't bear fruit is to call Microsoft Support. Once you pay the obligatory fee, they are very helpful.
