I'm hoping that you can help me...
I have some PDFs’s within a document library and I’ve made the change to the SharePoint XML as identified with Adobe to open PDFs with the Adobe Reader application for SharePoint 2010, this is absolutely great when you open it directly from the SharePoint library as it opens the file in Adobe Reader, prompts the user to check out the document, you make your changes and it saves it back/checks it in.
However, if you navigate to the document within the document library via a link, it just prompts you to save it (Which is the link I have within an InfoPath text field).
Would you know how to replicate what it does when you open it from the DL? As I’d like to open this link from an InfoPath form.
