    filter-based view

I'm working on an inventory order form in Infopath 2010, and have set it up with different page views for each type of merchandise (i.e, one view lets users order office supplies, a second view lets them order marketing materials, a third view is for clothing and apparel, etc.).  In the last view, I would like to set up a table that displays a summary of their order.  I can't figure out how to do this without listing each item again and that could mean a very long and cumbersome view.

Is there a way to filter the fields to only display those that have been selected in the previous views?

     Thanks,

The way to accomplish this is to apply conditional formatting to the repeating table, with the condition to Hide if the data for that row is not selected in the other views.

    Cori,

Make sure that you are using a secondary data source for the merchandise, office supplies, and clothing/apparel (i.e. it doesn't exist in your main data source). Your main data source should include only the selections. Then, it's easy since you only show what they selected.

    Best!
