"The form could not retrieve data from ItemMetadata because it would violate cross-domain restrictions."

When I test my workflow form in Forms Services, I am getting the following DataAdapterException error: 04/04/2011 10:01:12.49 w3wp.exe (0x06CC) 0x0D8C Forms Server Forms Services Runtime - Data C 82fx Warning The form could not retrieve data from ItemMetadata because it would violate cross-domain restrictions. To allow this connection for administrator-approved form templates, enable full trust for the form template, or add the connection to a Data Connection Library. For user form templates, cross-domain connections must be enabled in SharePoint Central Administration, and all connections must be in a Data Connection Library. For more information, please see the security documentation for InfoPath Forms Services. I could understand this message if the secondary data source was a database or a web service, but to get this for ItemMetadata.xml seems very strange! I have tried making the form full trust, but that didn't make any difference. Adding the connection to the DCL doesn't make any sense, and there is no means to convert that type of connection to a .udcx! Does anyone have any ideas?? Many thanks

I solved it! The *name* of the data connection must be ItemMetadata.xml as well as the *file name* being ItemMetadata.xml.
