InfoPath Dev

I have set up a drop down list, Unit Serial Number,within a repeating section so that as you select the serial number the selections you have picked are no longer an option.  My next step is to now populate the model type text box.  I have put a rule in place that will populate the model type text box correctly but successive repeating sections show the same information time and time again.  

 I've set the data source serial number to equal the drop down list box serial number that populates the model type value field.  However, it won't work.  What am I missing here?

Have you searched for how to use the Current() xpath command? You may also want to read up on the Preceding-Sibling() command. Search for those two on this site. Greg has some good blogs and posts.

I will look those up.  I have used the preceeding and sibling one before, but to be honest I'm still working throught the logic. Thanks.
