Hiding Section Until Another Section's CheckBoxes Used

I have two Section controls, A and B.  Section A holds 12 checkboxes.   I want to keep Section B hidden until at least one checkbox in A is used/checked.   Any of the 12 used should cause Section B to appear.  I have used conditional formatting in Section B with 12 conditions (1 for each checkbox) spread over 3 rules, but this does not seem to work.  Is there a smart way with conditional formatting/rules to unhide Section B if Section A has any activity?

The expression is a little verbose, but please give the attached template a try.

    Jimmy,

Nice.  However, my node paths are a little long and for the number of checkboxes, do not fit in one condition field.  Can these be spread across more rules?

You can spread it across multiple expressions in the condition for a single rule, and join the expressions with the AND dropdown box.  All of the expressions would look like the one I showed you, and you would just use different fields in each.

Hi cbrown, alternatively, you could set a field's default value as the concatenation of the values of all the checkboxes, and hide the section if the field contains true.

    Thx!  Both approaches work well.
