I am trying to use a people/group picker with a database templet. Not sure why but since I used the database template to create my form I do not get the standard window when I add the picker to the form.
When I try to insert the controle a window pops up asking me to select a field or group to bind it to (not the usual sharepoint info).
I have tried...

Ceating a new text field and binding it to that: errors out saying that the picker can not be bound to the selected field or group.

I have tried creating a new group: errors out again saying that it cannot be bound to the selected field or group

I have tried creating a new data conection and get the same error

I have tried adding a data connection to the Sharepoint Users Information list and have been unable to bind it to any of those fields.
What am I doing wrong?
