    Schema changing between Client and Browser based

    Hi ,

    I am deploying a infopath 2007 form to the a live sharepoint server,

    It is giving problems however in that the preview of the form works correctly and loads data from a SQL server soap endpoint into a dropdown list.

    However when deploying as a form to sharepoint site it loads with no errors but the list does not contain any data.

    After digging around, I have discovered it is because the XML returned to the browser is different to the XML return to the client so the xpath can not find the data to load the list.

    I am sure I had this in the dev enviroment and found a solution on the web, but this was over a year ago and I can not find the article.I think it envolved changing some of the files in the sharepoint site,

    Using Inforpath 2007 and sharepoint 2007.

    Client XML

    <sqlresultstream:SqlRowSet xsi:type="sqlsoaptypes:SqlRowSet">
    <SqlRowSet1 xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:sql:SqlRowSet1">
    <row>
    <REG_ID>1</REG_ID>
    <REG_Order>1</REG_Order>
    <REG_Name>West</REG_Name>
    <REG_Manager></REG_Manager>
    <REG_CreatedBy></REG_CreatedBy>
    <REG_ReviewedBy></REG_ReviewedBy>
    </row>

    Browser XML

    <sqlresultstream:SqlRowSet xsi:type="sqlsoaptypes:SqlRowSet" msdata:UseDataSetSchemaOnly="true" msdata:UDTColumnValueWrapped="true" xmlns:msdata="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-msdata" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:sqlresultstream="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2004/SOAP/types/SqlResultStream">
              <SqlDataSet xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:sql:SqlDataSet">
                <row xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:sql:SqlRowSet1">
                  <REG_ID>1</REG_ID>
                  <REG_Order>1</REG_Order>
                  <REG_Name>West</REG_Name>
                  <REG_Manager />
                  <REG_CreatedBy />
                  <REG_ReviewedBy />
                </row>

    as you can see the client has  a SqlRowSet1  node

    whilst the browser has a SqlDataSet  node
