Hi Guys,

I published a infopath form and I have this field in a table that is set to read only with a place holder "John Doe". When I save this form in SharePoint I'm expecting to see "John Doe" in the published field. However it is not showing up for the table field. This is also happening with other fields that are not set to read only. I just wanted to give an example. Is this a issue with Cache somewhere in Sharepoint? Anyone have this issue before?

 

Are you publishing to a form library or SharePoint list?  Where exactly is it not appearing on SharePoint?  In the InfoPath form or the SharePoint field that it's bound to?

I'm publishing to the Sharepoint site. I was able to resolve the problem by changing it from a place holder to default value and re-adding the fields with merge selected from within Infopath design.
