Second data connection sharepoint checkbox options.

    Hello ,

as i was using the search no good answer came up. so please pardon if I double post.

my problem: (Infopath 2007 -webform -  and sharepoint 2007)

I Use a sharepoint list as an secondary datasource. The user must use a checkbox option for his selection

The form was already created I added some workflow (SP) so that we can use this form as an web enabled sharepoint form. The user simply has to check some options of the list and submitt he form to a library. If I reopen the form al selections has been gone. I am a little confused  is this not a option? Can I not use a sharepoint list to populate a list for using checkbox option?

how can i make this happen? THanks.

Are your checkboxes in the main DOM, or are they bound to the SharePoint list secondary data source?

Thank you for your reply. The data is bound as an secondary datasource. Maybe i should use a Query option and copy the  selected record to the primary datasource?

When you submit, the changes made to the secondary DOM are not getting uploaded, thus when the xml is reopened at a later time the changes are not there.

With the checkboxes bound to nodes in the main DOM you can submit the user's selections and retain them the next time the form is opened.

    Good luck!
