Re: 2010 Browser forms w/ conditional formatting?

Also, if I change the conditional formatting to just "Don't allow users to inert or delete this control", everything works.  This seems to just be a problem when the conditional formatting on this repeating table is set to "Hide this control".

I'll just shut up for now.  But for Pete's sake, if anyone has any ideas, or suggested workarounds, please let me know!

    Thanks!

To my knowledge there should be no issue with having multiple controls bound to the same data source with different formatting on them (again, you know what I'll say -- test in a sample form. Create a repeating group in your data source, add a bunch of controls on the form bound to that table, set them with different formatting -- in fact, you probably have a sample form from earlier in this discussion that shows this).

If it were my form, I'd probably take a somewhat nuclear approach, set postback to always on my tables, controls in tables, controls outside of tables that affect my tables, anything that I think could be causing the problem. Publish, see what happens. If things start behaving the way you anticipate, then you can gradually start changing the postback on your controls back to a more conservative approach, and check after each change.

OK, now I feel like a colossal ***.

This appears to be a BROWSER ISSUE!

I have tried it on Firefox, Chrome, and Safari . . . and it works no problem.

Internet Explorer 8 (7, and XP), gives me error on page -
