I am new to Infopath. I am having Infopath 2010 and VSTA is configured.
The user needs a offline capability. so i thought of using infopath and sync to the workspace.
The requirement is - Search functionality.
The controls needed are a listbox(multi selection), button, image control and grid like control.
From the listbox, user should be able to select multiple data, which is binded from database and click on the button, which populates the data in the grid as well as corresponding matching image from the picture library.
The listbox contains the name of the Images.. so the search should be retrieve the image from picture library as well as database.
How to achieve this? The above scenario is needed in offline.
Also, I am not sure of the template i should choose for such a functionality. which template should be choosen.
I was able to do the above scenario in a visual web part created in VS 2010 and attached to a page, but as the offline part will not work, i am trying for Infopath.
How to achieve the above scenarios?
