InfoPath Dev

I'm really new to Infopath but was able to link to a Sharepoint list and listview to insert repeating tables to populate the employee roster and call tree sections of our Business Continuity Plan (built in Infopath). However, the lists show only after I've hit the Preview button when the file is opened in design mode. It also seems like other related changes I've made, such as text serving as a header for a call tree, do not show up when the form is just opened as a form and not in the template design mode.

 What am I doing wrong?

First idea is that you are not actually publishin the form, or when you do publish you aren't opening from the published location. This could be caused by a caching bug. To clear your cache, click Start and InfoPath and remove the form templates that you were using for your form template. Then, open again from the published location and InfoPath locally will download and cache the new form. Maybe that fixes your problem.

The second idea has to do with domains... When you publish the form are you publishing it to the same site where the SharePoint list lives? If not, is the location where you are publishing to in the same Intranet domain as the SharePoint list?

Hmmm... I think part of my problem was that I uploaded the .xsn file rather than publishing it. However, now I'm having trouble publishing. Infopath says it's publishing, but when I look in the library I specified, it's not there. It's not in any of my other libraries either. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
