    problems with edited xsl view in browser

    Hi

    In a infopath 2007 view I have edited the display value of a dropdown box. To achieve this I have saved the source files and edited the view1.xsl:

     I have replaced <xsl:value-of select="@ows_LinkTitle"/> with

    <xsl:value-of select="concat(@ows_LinkTitle,' Version: ',@ows_Version_x0020_No)"/>

    When I look at this modification in preview mode. This works great. But as soon as I try to use this form in a browser form of sharepoint 2007, the form can't be loaded. The design checker gives me the following error message:
    The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server:

    Server was unable to process request. ---> Value cannot be null.
    Parameter name: key

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi Loma2,

    My guess is that IPFS doesn't allow for this at runtime. Why not just crate a secondary data source and concat the values together in a repeating node there. Then you can just use a plain dropdown to display the values. To create the concatenated values, you will need some way of repeating through the items. You could use code to do this or qRules insert with a counter - see Jo-Anne's latest blog on this.

    Thanks!
