first of all I apologize if i post a problem very similar to others who have already responded.

this is my problem. i have some repeating section like this:
page_numbers --> page_number --> value

i want to create a view with an expression box that display all the page_number --> value. something like this:
5,12,14,16,20,28

my attempts with the eval and concat functions always give me an error.

you can create a new view or you can use "vista_rapportino"; in my intention this view is a read-only view.

There was a data connection to a local XML file that was preventing me from saving the template after I made changes -- I hope you don't mind, but I had to remove it. Before you publish your template for others to use, be sure any XML files are stored with the template as resource files.

Let me know if these changes were what you were needing -- I did add the num field to the form for testing.

the result is what i need but in the wrong field.

the "totale_pagine" field must display the value present in the xml file (just one number).

i need an expression box that display the concatenation of the "num" field.
unfortunately if i put the formula valutazione(valutazione(numero_pagina; 'concat(num, ";")'); "..") inside the expresion box i get an error:
"../numeri_pagina/numero_pagina" non fa riferimento a un percorso di posizione valido di un campo o gruppo.

if i append another expression box and insert the formula above, i get a different error (see attached image)

The numero_pagina group needs to be selected using Insert field or group. Where does your expression box need to be on your form? That will change the XPath to the group. Here's another sample with an expression box, but since I'm not sure if the box is correctly located, the XPath may still not be correct.

the expression box should be inside the optional section, so the expression box disappear if there are no occurrence of the father (pagine_VR).
