    repeating table xmlToEdit error message

    I have a repeating control in View 1 that I copied into View 2.  Then I removed some controls in the repeating table in View 2.  In the course of messing with repeating control in View 2 - I managed to remove the binding of all controls in the repeating table on View 1.  I rebound them but still get the following error message. The bolded portion is the official name of my repeating table control (Main data source) on View 1 and View 2 but the underscore# portion ( _565) does not match the xmlToEdit in the property of the control in each view.  The error references a different underscore#.....how do I fix this? (The viewContent is the same CTRL406 for both)

    View 1, xmlToEdit: rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4_2513

    View 2, xmlToEdit: rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4_167

    The error message:

    InfoPath cannot open the following view: B - Estimated Cost Worksheet
    The form definition (.xsf) file has an error on the following element or attribute: xsf:xmlToEdit
    Error: The following attribute value is incorrect:container in the xmlToEdit element with name = "rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4_565"

    ----

    UPDDATE 1:

    I extracted the manifest.xsf file and found several occurances of _565 control (below).  It looks like the first occurance has a strange character at the end of the container attribute.

    1) I changed the container value to be the same as the item value, then saved the file which updated my cab and thus my xsn file.  BUT now I CAN NOT open the modified template.xsn in Design mode nor can I open the cab file (it just won't open to all the files anymore).  I must've saved my manifest.xsf changes incorrectly?  Anyway now I get ERROR MSG 2 shown below.

     How do I fix this?

    ----
    <xsf:xmlToEdit name="rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4_565" item="/my:myFields/my:grpEstimatedCosts_B4/my:rtblEstimatedCostsTable1_B4/my:rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4" container="/my:myFields/my:grpEstimatedCosts_B4/my:רʶ">
    ----

    ----
    <xsf:button action="xCollection::insertBefore" xmlToEdit="rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4_565" caption="Insert rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4 before" showIf="immediate"></xsf:button>
    ----
    <xsf:button action="xCollection::insertAfter" xmlToEdit="rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4_565" caption="Insert rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4 after" showIf="immediate"></xsf:button>
    ----
    <xsf:button action="xCollection::remove" xmlToEdit="rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4_565" caption="Remove rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4" showIf="immediate"></xsf:button>
    ----
    <xsf:button action="xCollection::insert" xmlToEdit="rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4_565" caption="Insert rtblEstimatedCostsTable2_B4" showIf="immediate"></xsf:button>
    ----

    ERROR MSG 2:
    The following file is referenced in the .xsf file but is not part of the form: myschema.xsd.

     Update: I ended up starting over from a backup copy of my template (losing a day's work) as I couldn't resolve this issue.  Every fix I did created a new problem.
