Hi!

I have this strenge issue with one of my form when i try to submit it (I did solved the prolem but I have no explanation for  the problem)

When I did ååpe nthe log file I could se messages regarding this form: invalid characters in the filename.

The filename was OK despite that it included Norwegian char, after some testing I did removed the fullstop char "." in the end of a string in a textbox control , also my string ended with "S." and I removed the"."  and suddenly i could submit this form.

Is there any one who can explain that for me?

Hi -- I think you are saying that your submit connection gave you an error because the fields used to make up the name of the file had a "." in one of them?

Here's a link to a Microsoft KB article about file names. The period character cannot be used at the end of a file name -- is it possible your submit connection used that field for the file name and it was the last field used? You can see what fields are used by opening the Data Connection Manager and highlighting the connection that submits to SharePoint.
