about "is present" & "isn't present"

    Hi. ( InfoPath2003)
    I have 2 questions :
I have created many conditions on my fields but never used below conditions ....

"is present" & "is not present"

I want to know where can I use "is present" & "isn't present" in my conditions. When & Where is this condition useful ?????
    Is there any example ?

    ---------
second one : with Rules , How can I create conditions on "Tables" ? which conditions are used for "Tables"?

    Hi,

"is present" & "is not present" shows the field is present in the datasource or not.
You can set the condition on a field based on some filed if it is present in the datasource or not.

For second one , with rules you can set conditions on fields, user roles, expressions and so on... I think there is no comditions on tables.

    Thanks.

    Hi Navid,
Is present and is not present conditions are used to set the conditions on the fields to hide or dispay them. Sometimes we define some fields which we do not display in UI, based on those also we can apply conditions on the fields display in the UI.

Re: about "is present" & "isn't present"

    Hi Navid,

Is present and Is not present conditions are used for secondary DOM nodes. In main DOM we always have node because this condition might not be works. For secondary DOM, some times we are tying to query or submit connection in that after performing the action it will created some node set and displayed in secondary DOM. If we trying to query some document, if exist only it gives node otherwise it will not displayed.
