Show/Hide questions by a click of the button? :-)

    Hello All!

I have a form that has 8 tables on it. Each table reflects a category and series of questions pertaining to the category. Is there a way I can hide the tables when I'm not filling them out and then show them when I'm ready to fill them out?

    Thanks for any advice!

Sure. Put the tables in a conditional section that displays based on a checkbox (or some other state) that you place outside of the section.

You can use a button to set a value that a) changes which button is displayed (for example a button with a + sign becomes a button with a - sign) and b) show/hides your section.

Thanks for replying Patrick! I like the idea of the button changing to a "+" or "-" depending on the condition. In VB I would put this in the button's OnClick event but I'm new to InfoPath so could you instruct me on how to do this?

    Thanks again!

Just use a separate field and a display condition - no code required. Double click on the section to control conditional visibility. That's why you need to put it in a section.
