    Date picker problems

I will try to explain in English, but my InfoPath (2003sp2) installation is in Dutch.

I have two radiobutton, 'yes' and 'no'
YES is defined as TRUE if selected, NO is defined as FALSE if selected.

Next to it I have a date picker.
I want the date picker to be visible when de radiobutton is TRUE.
Using the properties of the datepicker I can click 'conditional layout'(voorwaardelijke opmaak)

Furtheron you can define some rules.
The option "hide control" is grayed out !
How can I select/deselect the 'hide' property of the datepicker?

I hope I made my case clear. I use dutch translated InfoPath2003sp2

Hello reijndert and Welcome to Forums,
You can have your date picker in a section and show/hide that section based on radio button selection

    Hope this helps!

That worked. But why do I have to use a section to solve this 'problem'? Why am I forbidden to hide a datepicker? Is it a bug in InfoPath2003? I tried InfoPath2007beta, the problem is still there...

    I'm new to InfoPath.
I've encountered several other strange behaviour, I will post them in seperate threads.

    reijndert.

The reason it's not available directly on the date picker control probably has something to do with its complex representation in XSL. Maybe MS couldn't figure out how to hide each tidbit reliably or something.
