InfoPath Dev

Using the RTM of InfoPath 2007, I have tried to import serveral .doc files. All fail with cannot import because of one or more errors. In the Textbox below this message, there no errors. I checked the NT event logs, no errors. I ran office diagnostics, no errors. I can open the documents with Word without any problems.

I assume you are using the InfoPath Designer - i.e. you have chosen to import a form into InfoPath and the title of the window starts with "(Design)". If that is the case, you can import a Word document into the form. If there is a problem, it should be displayed as an error or a message in the taskpane, but if not, please click on Design Checker and verify that it has nothing. If so, it may be an incompatibility of the version of Word doc that you have, or with InfoPath's support of the import functionality. Sorry if this isn't more helpful! Good luck.
