Problem Filtering repeating table by Date Picker Value

I was wanting to use conditional formating to filter my repeating table based on the user selected date in a date picker control.  I cannot seem to get any rows to return back if I hide rows where date is not equal to the field.  My datasource is a sharepoint list that has the date column in Date/Time format.  I've tried using a substring rule to format the date field in my repeating table to match the date picker format with no luck.  The date string format in my repeating table is yy-MM-dd 00:00:00.  Is there something im missing here?  If I try this same thing using a dropdown control it works fine so i'm guessing there's a formatting mismatch with the dates.

Your datepicker in your form is probably formatting the date as 2010-09-23T08:03:55. Your SharePoint data source may not have the T.

Thanks for the response.  Is there a way I can concat a T into the datasource field to make them match?  I'm kind of new to this :/

Might be easier to do things the other way around. In the condition for the filter for your repeating table from SharePoint, set the condition to be if the date time field from SharePoint is equal to and then use a formula with the translate function -- the first field would be your date time from your form, the second would the string "T" with quotes around it, and the third would be quotes with a space like this " ". That would compare your SharePoint data to the form field with the T replaced with a space.
