Hello,

I have the requirement that I have to open a form from a button with data from the underlying form. I know how I can open another form but I don´t know how I can transfer data from the underlying form to the new form.

Can anyone help me with this or does anybody know where I can see a sample...

When you open the new form via code, it returns a handle to the XDocument object of the form you just opened. You can use that XDocument object to populate data from the existing form into the new form.
