Hi,

 I am a complete newbie to infopath, and add sharepoint to it.. I am lost. Even before getting started I have tonns of questions.

Here is the scenario. 

I have office 2003, unfortunately restricted from upgrades, and I am trying to create "browser enabled" forms to populate data into sharepoint (project server 2007) lists (multiple lists with several attachments).

Sample data:

List 1 - project name,  project owner info, initiation date, ...

List 2 - project name, project budget info, budget code, ...

List 3 - project name, progress and other data....

all sharepoint lists have "project name" as the common column and the rest of the data is unique.

I followed few web tutorials and got the data posted to all the lists. However this was only using the webservice methods and CAML. The main problem is providing EDIT and DELETE features on the form.

here are the questions.

1) Is it even possible to create browser enabled forms on infopath 2003

2) Does vb or c# scripts work on browser enabled forms (if developed in infopath 2007). (Say you open the form in browser from the sharepoint site, would the c#/VB code written to submit the data still work?)

3) What are the IDEAS on implementing an EDIT / DELETE features in the form (I want to pull data from these lists, and post it after some modification by user in the browser)

  3a) MY IDEA: I am populating a drop-down list with all the project names, then updating the corresponding fields based on the selection. This is good for viewing.
       Is there a way to post the data back to the lists once the user edits the fields (say by clicking an "update" button).

 I am trying to avoid writing code. (because it may/may not work on browsers), however, I am open to it. (If this can be done by using the Lists.asmx webservices, it would be awesome).
