    Hello Srinath,

I'm afraid I don't understand your scenario. When an InfoPath form is submitted, it creates an XML file which stores the data for all the fields. When working with SharePoint, you can promote some fields to have them show up as columns in a form library, for example, but the xml retains the data for all the fields. Bottom line: if there's a field in your XSN design, the XML generated by the XSN form will contain that data.

If I misunderstood the question, please reply again and let me know. Thanks.

You understood the question correctly :) . As the form has 5800 fields will this effects the performance, saves all the data in xml. is this the right way.

    Hey Srinath,

Your form should not have 5800 fields. That's a bad design. Just don't do it.
