Reply Contact Hello, Im very new to using InfoPath, but nee dto use it for work. I was wondering if there is rules i can set so that when i type a name into a txtbox at the top of my form the same info will also go into a txt box at the bottom of my form without having to type it twice and the form will be completed by three different people and instead of having to type the same info out i would love to be able to have it so that it automatically puts this info into another txt box for me. Hopefully this makes sence. :) Thanks Sam 08-15-2010 08:13 PM In reply to Jimmy Joined on 07-03-2008 Posts 2,595 Re: Duplicationg text boxes. Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact If you want users to be able to modify the name in either place, just use two text boxes bound to the same field. If you only want them to enter the name at the top of the field, you can use an expression box at the bottom that shows the value of the textbox's field. Hi Sam, you can do that with rules.
Right click on your first text box, rules, add action, select "set a field value". On field, select your last field and on value select your first field
Thank you so much!!
