    Microsoft

This is a question aimed specifically at those of you who work for microsoft:

Has microsoft considered purchasing forms developed by InfoPath users and then selling them to similar industries?

I can't and don't speak for Microsoft, but I have worked for them in the past.

I can, however, say that do to IP issues and the need to gaurantee original sources of both the ideas, code, etc., in order to prevent legal issues, Microsoft and other large corporations tend to avoid such practices and develop in-house as necessary.

Why would you want to do this anyway? Why let MS make a cut of your creation instead of just selling it to those industries yourself?

Regardless, I think OfficeLive might have the ability for something like this to happen. With that model I think users can upload software that works with OfficeLive and other users can purchase stuff from a library. Kind of how Google Video allows anyone to upload video and charge for download.
