New to the site but been using it for help recently.
Ive been tasked with developing an ordering solution through our sharepoint site using an infopath form,
ive had to teach myself sharepoint design and a little admin and also how to use infopath from scratch which has been fun however i have a few question if someone could help it would be great.
The form ive created needs to have cascading drop downs to list the make then the model and then the reference code for the item. I tried an access databse which worked but couldnt be published as the filtering of data cannot be done in a browser based form. Same as a SQL database,The form is complete but i cannot sort the cascading drop downs in a form that i can upload to sharepoint as i presumed it has to be a browser based template? Is there a way i can do this easily with limited coding as i do not have any knowledge as of yet in regards to xml or coding in general.
Once my form has been created i would like to implement it as a link on our site so when they click the template opens is this possible?
if not can it be integrated into the page itself for them to fill in and submit?
any help would be greatfully recieved!!!
