Sorry if this is totally the wrong place to ask this but I am really struggling with a couple of things.
1) I have a SP list which I have exported to Excel, tab 1 being the feed owssrv(1), tab 2 being my nicely formatted report which is basically pooling info from tab 1 via =[insert cell numer] type formula. The problem I am having is I have recently changed the column ordering in my SP site. Just the order nothing else.
So it's all good when I want to make a new list entry but my column order won't change on Excel when I refresh the list.....why is this and can you please advise how I can get around ?
2) My second issue is to do with data validation on my SP list....but I don't think you can do it my version WSS ? As free text is not really ideal for a columm such as reference number (which I have a number format for)
