Hello,

I difficult problem and I'm not sure what it is is or where it is.

I have a form that receives data from external database. Generally it works fine but some for some users the data isn't retrieved. By testing I can eliminate problems related to different InfoPath versions, how the users open the form or in which country user is located. So what could possibly be the reason? I think it cannot be related to user groups in database because user is not accessing the database, the form is.

I have "Allow users to fill out this form if data is unavailable" unticked

infopath forms developed in InfoPath 07 might not work properly with Infopath 03 users. you can design your template to be comatible with InfoPath03. that way you will ensure that you use features that are avaiable in both the verions.

Field testing has shown InfoPath 2007 users might also have this problem. Problems related to different version doesn't sound possible because wouldn't the problems then be with every IP2003 or IP2007 (or both) users...? And that's not the case here. This problem seem to occur totally randomly but always with the same persons.
