    Rules and Code-can I call a Rule from code

    I have some code in VB behind an Infopath button to check logon, etc and approve a form. If the form is approved, I want to run a rule that sends the form via email.

    Can you call a rule from code and if so, what sytax, or do I need to email the form from code instead and if so, what syntax.

    You can send email from code.
    Search InfoPath dev forums with "send email" as the keyword. There are lot of posts on how to send email from code.
