    Add custom (user) command?

How can I add a custom (user) command to InfoPath (or more generallt to all Office applications), e.g. to a menu and toolbar? The command can point to an EXE or HTML file (with scripting) for example. I also wonder how this can be done programatically so I can distribute this extension to other computers.

Specifically I want the command to extract the .XSL template from the .XSN "cab" file, do some processing on it, and save it in a user specified location (specified using Common Dialog Control).

I know task pane is one workaround but I'd prefer a real extension to InfoPath that can also be applied at design time. Also considered rewriting the Save command with custom code, but this and similar solutions seem to require me to make the form fully trusted, which creates a host of problems.

    Thanks,
