Delete all rows of repeating table.

    Hi There,

I'm trying to delete all ofthe rows in a repeating table and then dymanically repopulate the table using th CLone method. Unfortunatley after deleting the rows I have a null referrence exception as I cannot clone a row that does not exist. Do I need to add the child elements back into the row before I can clone again?

The reason why I need to do this is because the repeating table does not refresh every time I build it is accumulative. I end up with repeating rows.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I think you should take a look at our qRules tool: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules.aspx

Working with repeating tables in InfoPath can be complicated and many of the scenarios you mention are best done (or only can be done) using code.  qRules allows you to use code without writing the code, you inject our code into your form and then use rules in InfoPath to execute the code (which means you don't need to know the code).

qRules has a bunch of commands associated with working with repeating tables, inserting, copying data between and deleting nodes.

    Ted
