    Summarising information from Repeating Sections

    Hi

I wondered if anyone on here could help with an issue that's a real head scratcher for me.

I've developed a form "Medicine Card Checklist" that is based around repeating sections. A new repeating section is opened for every medicine card to be reviewed. What I'd like to do is have a table at the end of the form that summarises key information from each individual repeating section. That would be initials (Text field), issues (rich text field) actions required (rich text field) and date completed (date picker). Essentially this would be a summary record to conclude the audit.

Sorry for the lack of technical information here but I'm relatively new to Infopath

    Any advice

    Paul

A lot will depend on the structure of your form, and what you are trying to summarize. In general, however, you can use expressions boxes with filtered XPaths to display specific information from your repeating tables. You could also add additional repeating tables to your form that are bound to the same repeating group as the ones where your users enter their initial information and then hide some rows / don't display all the fields to create your summary.
