I have checked the board and cannot exactly get a good solution to my problem. I do not write script nor can I tap into anyone that has the knowledge. I also do not have SP designer--yes I know its free, this is a strict kind of environment at work. We have been receiving work via phone calls, emails and other means. I wanted a way to track what we get, how we get it and how long it takes to perform an activity so I added a form and connected it to SP. When we got our requests, we would fill out our own form and save as to the library. My initial submit was an e-mail to a monitored box.
We now want to push this form out to our external partners who do not have access our SP site. I want them to submit directly to the library. All of them have Infopath so I did not create it as a web form. I have some controls that are not web compatible. I do not want them to have any access to the destination library. I created a separate site to house our form- and hopefully others-- and gave them contribute rights to that library. The form submits to the protected library, however those persons who do not have contribute rights to the destination library get an error.
What are my options?
