Error:An error occured accessing a datasource in browser enabled form.

    Hi,

We are trying to establish a connection with a webservice using a Query Data connection Rule. The connection is working fine when we preview it.

But after the form is being viewed in a browser it gives an error:

    Some rules were not applied.

An error occured accessing a datasource.

We also tried converting the DataConnection but still it didn't worked out.

    Thanks.

     Hi Binay,

For a browser form to consume the web serivce( external data) it has to be deployed with full trust. U can change the trust Tools -> Form Option -> Security. There u can deploy the form with full trust. After u publish the form, u shuld be able to access the datasource.

But for preview in the client it can access the web service even with out full trust [:(]

    Hi Kesava,

Thanks for quick reply, but as i published it with full trust it is asking for Administrative Approved forms...which i don't know how to approve the forms.

Please suggest some link, document which gives me information about "How to approve the forms"

One concern here is, as my form is not having any code/script so why we need to allow full trust???
