Error in using C# dll in InfoPath forms

    Hi,

I have created a custome dll to work with the InfoPath forms. I made a reference to this dll in VSTA and have published these forms onto sharepoint server. These forms along with the dll are working fine on my system. But, when I am trying to open the form on the client machine, under submit operation,(where the dll code will executes) it is giving the error "Could not load file or assemnly 'Assembly,Version=1.0.0.0,.......'  or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

when  I have loaded the dll manually on to the users machine, it is working fine. From this I understand that infopath is failing to publish the custom dll on to the users machine while opening it from the sharepoint server.

All my forms got 'Full Trust' security with a valid digital certificate.

How can I make my custome dll to work on client's machine with out installing it manually???

    TIA

Tyically a full trust form has to be installed.  I think I have seen a way to do a quasi-network install but ussually your .dll would get bundled with the install and placed on the user's machine during the install routine.

    Hi,

I am facing exactly same error. Searched many forums but no success. I think Infopath is not able to bind the custom DLL in xsn file. Because when we build a VSTA code associated with Infopath form, it binds all the associated DLLs in managed code with xsn template.

If you have found any solution, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Goldy
