InfoPath Dev

Hi,

I read a list from SharePoint and populate the DDL in InfoPath. I want to set the text for a text boax with the maximum value in the DDL. Would anyone know how to do this in infopath. I am setting the value in the text box using the max funtion on the DDL field. But, this does not seem to work.

The name/value pairs in your drop down list must be stored in some kind of data source (not done manually). See this post on how to do:http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1258 .

After you have stored your name/values in a data source (XML, database, etc.) you can just query the data source to find the maximum node from there. So you need to query the source not the destination.
