Hi.

Is there an easy way to count a certain number of checkboxes that has been marked, when I press a button?

where are the check boxes, are they in some repeating table or just hanging around in the form.

a simple approach would be to create a field check_box_count

initially set it to 0

on checkbox write rules

if check box  is equal to true

increment the check_box_count

if check box  is not equal to true

decrement the check_box_count
