    Reading data source(xsd) from infopath

    Hi,

    We use xsd annotation/documentation tags to describe each input field in our xml document. I would like to read this documentation tags in my datasource schema file (.xsd) and display them in infopath form.
    I can access xml document using XDocument object, but not the schema.

    Can anyone tell me how to read xsd schema programatically? I am using .net toolkit (vb.net) for infopath progamming.

    Thanks,
    E. Rajasekar.

    Hi,

    Here is some C# to do it. VB conversion should be the easy part...

    IXMLDOMDocument2 templateDom = (IXMLDOMDocument2)thisXDocument.CreateDOM();
    templateDom.async = false;
    templateDom.validateOnParse = false;
    templateDom.load("myschema.xsd");
    templateDom.setProperty("SelectionNamespaces", "xmlns:my='http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2005-10-13T18-45-15' xmlns:xsd='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema'");
