hi there,

i have a button which sets a checkbox to true using the following
Condition: none (rule always applies)
Rule: Set a field's value: @Deleted = true()

*where @Deleted is a checkbox

The problem is that when i set the value of the checkbox, IP draws a red border around the checkbox. Therefore it wont allow me to submit the form(obviously) There is no validation associated with this checkbox whatsover.

Help would be good thanks

Did you add your rule with:
Add Action
Set field's Value
You picked your field (field1)
value: true
Then you have a line: field1 = "true"

How did you get to true() and what is your field name in your schema, @Deleted?

Sorry, im an idiot. The @Deleted is a field in an Access Database of type Yes/No. Im assuming setting it to True/False would work but obviously is doesn't.Instead i set it to "yes". In the checkbox properties, i set the following:
Value when cleared to no
Value when checked to yes... instead of true/false
