SP Access denied error with updated infopath forms

    Good morning everyone,

I created a custom page layout with a custom content type. This page layout hosts an XmlFormViewer control which of course hosts an Infopath form.
Forms are being deployed to a dedicated document library as content types. Everything is working quite smoothly. Except for the fact that as soon as I update my form in infopath and publish it to sharepoint again (update content type) I cannot view it in my browser anymore. Access denied and therefore a redirect to the login page occures. This only happens in my web application's extended zone for forms authentication. And here comes the tricky part.. If I access the form using the windows zone it works. And once I did that it also works in the anonymous (=forms) zone. Weird, right? Are there any security mechanisms in place I should be aware of? How do you typically update a form content type on your farm?

A runtime exception was detected. Details follow.
Message: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
