InfoPath Dev

Hi, i have an infopath form with a drop-down box that receives data from a sharepoint list. it works fine from the INTERNAL network (using https://remote.domainname.com:987)  The problem is that If i design the form from a computer from the OUTSIDE INTERNET and click "preview" then the drop-down list DOES populate with data fine, but If i publish it and then try to open the form from the site then the drop-down DOES NOT POPULATE.

 it seems like i have everything set right but i obviously am missing something. any ideas?

You seem to be running into a permissions issue. In one scenario you are authenticated and can access the data source, and in the other you don't. You'll need to check the permission settings on the sharepoint list.

you were right! i went to the sharepoint list and gave full trust to "vistitors" just to see, and the data appeared in the drop down list!! ill have to explore around with the permissions now but that was definitely it.  you are a genius. thank you so much!
