    open aspx page on button click?

    HI All,

    I am using infopath 2007. In my form I've a button control. When user clicks on this button, an aspx page should open in a separate window.

    Can anybody tell me how to do it?

    Thanks,

    Jaimin

    Hi,

    You can use "hyperlink" field to open new aspx page from infopath form.

    Re: open aspx page on button click?

     Hi, I had the same problem and have found the following solution (in C#):

                System.Diagnostics.Process proc = new System.Diagnostics.Process();
                proc.StartInfo.FileName = "iexplore";
                proc.StartInfo.Arguments = "http://www.infopathdev.com"
                proc.Start();

    This block of code launches Internet Explorer in a new window and opens the specified site.

    Problem 1) Form code requires admin approval

    Problem 2) This doesn't seem to work on server published browser forms (fails with a critical error, no further details).

    So, does anyone know if a form absolutely needs to be at full trust to start client-side applications?

    Hi Bleak,

    ... please have a look at the following thread --- especially the MS KB artice at the end.

    I guess you can find the solution there.
